Darius Rivera, 23, has been charged in connection with incidents occurring Nov. 11 and a week later, on Monday.
On the earlier date, he was found to be in possession of a car stolen out of Jersey City and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Also on the 11th, police say he broke into Pizzalino pizza by breaking a glass door, although nothing was taken.
On Monday, around 6:18 a.m., police say Rivera struck again, this time at a caterer, East Coast Catering, on Avenue A. He allegedly broke into the business and took a cash register. That night, shortly before 9 p.m., Rivera broke into Keller Williams City Life Realty on Broadway, but did not take anything.
He has been charged with receiving stolen property, two counts of burglary, and a count of burglary and theft. He was being held at the Hudson County jail.
